Butler, PA — The 3B Barons defeated Butler Blue Sox 6-5 on Sunday after taking the lead late in the game. The 3B Barons were down 5-4 in the bottom of the fifth inning when Joey Fazzone homered to left field, scoring two runs.
The 3B Barons came back to win despite trailing 4-0 in the second.
Butler Blue Sox got on the board in the top of the second inning after Quinn Burke doubled, Dustin Horn hit a sacrifice fly, Tate Minich doubled, and Ben Aftanas singled, each scoring one run.
The 3B Barons tied the game in the bottom of the second thanks to a sacrifice fly by Chase Tomko, and a double by Nico Hall.
Butler Blue Sox took the lead in the top of the third. An error scored one run, to give Butler Blue Sox the edge, 5-4.
