Butler, PA — The 3B Barons snatched the lead late in the game in an 11-8 victory over Butler Blue Sox on Saturday. The 3B Barons trailed 8-7 in the top of the eighth inning when Joey Fazzone singled on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs.
Bats blistered as The 3B Barons collected 15 hits and Butler Blue Sox tallied seven in the high-scoring game.
Butler Blue Sox evened things up at seven in the bottom of the seventh inning when Quinn Burke tripled on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs.
After The 3B Barons scored one run in the top of the sixth, Butler Blue Sox answered with one of their own. The 3B Barons scored when Robert Herr hit a solo homer. Butler Blue Sox then answered when Seth Helgert drew a walk, scoring one run.
