Meadville, PA — The Barons showed their battling spirit for game one against the Meadville Mustangs coming back from being down 6 runs early. The Barons offense put up 12 hits in this contest and 6 of them were off the bats of Robert Herr and Shane Cato. Tyler Kamerer, Robert Herr and Calen Bender were racking up bases as well today to collectively score 7 of the 12 runs for the Barons. The Barons were lead on the mound with a stellar joint effort by Ryan Gibbons and Isaac Schleich. Schleich was able to stay strong and close out the game and receive his first win of the season. This was the Barons first win of the 2023 season and plan on continuing their winning traditions.
