Slinger, WI — The final score does no justice to the battle that took place in Slinger earlier this evening. It was a tight and hard fought contest thru 5 innings (3-0) until things got out of hand. Our freshman pitcher Savanna Miller kept things close by striking out 6, and limiting our experienced opponents to only 5 hits. Once again, she was backed up brilliantly by Hope behind the plate who picked off two runners on the bases and shut down the running game of a traditionally speedy Slinger outfit. Tomorrow we take on reigning conference champions Cedarburg in our home opener at 4.15p. See you at TJ!
