Falkville, AL — A lot of new face got a chance to compete at the varsity level. 8th grader - Jackson Owens (2nd Base) 7th grader - Trae Taylor (3rd Base), Gabrial Carr (PINCH RUN), Michael Dempsey (CF), Jaden Williams (RF) Inexperienced and physicality showed, but the guys were fearless and competed hard. Owens collected multiple outs on defense, Hit the ball hard. Dempsey, Taylor, Williams were aggressive at the plate. Hayden Brown had a great day at the place 2-2 with a hard hit RBI single through the six hole and a shot to left center which led to a triple. Isiah Mcnabb came in relief and threw the ball hard. Located strikes early. A.J Lagrone battled and pitched through some errors. He maintained composure on the mound and competed. Took a hard ground ball off the ankle, made the play to get the out and continued to pitch. Overall there's a lot of aspect to improve on.
