Grand Rapids, MI — The Mona Shores Boys Basketball team defeated the defending State Champion Tri Unity Christian 56-44 in round one of the Cornerstone Invitational Tuesday night. Thursday Mona Shores faces off v. East Kentwood at 4:45 at Cornerstone for the bracket championship. Leading the Sailors was Jordan Bledsoe with 22 points and 5 rebounds, Jonathan Pittman with 11 points and 11 rebounds, Mason Hallett added 10 points and 4 rebounds. Ryan Opsommer added 7 points, 3 assists, 3 steals and took two big charges. Great win Sailors!
