Walled Lake, MI — The Warriors hosted Troy Athens in the home opener for the 22-23 season. Coming off a tough loss two days prior the Warriors responded with a thrilling 38-26 win. The game started off close with WLW holding a 16-13 lead heading into half time. Then in the 3rd quarter with outstanding defense and pushing the fast break the Warriors extended their lead by out scoring Athens 18-1. The Warriors had solid contribution all around and were led by Veronica Barber, Delilah Levy, and McKenzie Kasyouhanan each scoring 10 points. The scoring was rounded out with Zoe Hightower with 4 points, Trista Givens and Emma Bulic each chipping in 2 points. The Warriors return to action Tuesday December 6 when they face Waterford Kettering @ Kettering.
