Whitehall, MI — The Mona Shores Boys Basketball team faced more adversity with another starter down with injury. On the road at Whitehall the sailors started poorly and really didn’t find their defense until the 4th quarter. Leading the Sailors was Mason Hallett with 19 points. Ryan Opsommer stepped up with 13 points, 6 assists and 3 steals. JT Foster added 7 points 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Landyn Smith played his first varsity time and added 9 points. Paul Ritter added 9 points, 2 assists and 2 steals. The Sailors return to round 2 of conference play vs Holland at home Friday night. Mona Shores 69- Whitehall 82.
