Wyoming Park 66, Mona Shores 62

Norton Shores, MI — The Mona Shores Boys Basketball team hosted Wyoming in conference play Thursday. The Sailors started strong but struggled in the second and third. Down 11 in the 4th the Sailors stormed back with relentless defense to take the lead but Wyoming prevailed 66-62. Leading the Sailors was Sophomore duo Jonathan Pittman with a Double Double 20 points and 10 rebounds and Jordan Bledsoe played a great game with 19 points 3 steals and 2 assist. senior JT Foster added 12 points. The Sailors are 4-4 and 1-1 in conference. Mona Shores travels to Union Friday in conference play.

Sophomore Jonathan Pittman added another Double Double scoring 20 points and grabbing 10 hard fought rebounds. His resilience and effort was exceptional.

Sophomore Jordan Bledsoe added 19 points facing tremendous pressure and double teams. He also added 3 steals and 2 assists. Jordanś maturity facing a lot of team attention is exceptional.

Rocky Arnold

One of my unsung heros this year is Rocky Arnold. Rocky cannot play but every day he comes to practice to prepare his team. He plays hard and doesn't complain. Without him, several games we wouldn't have the preparation we did due to injured teammates. Thanks for your great attitude Rocky!
