Norton Shores, MI — The Mona Shores boys basketball team started the new year right dominating Montague from the start. The Sailors started hot with a 20-4 first quarter and never looked back. The Sailors won 75-48. The whole team contributed a great defensive effort winning the rebound war by 12 and with constant pressure.  Jordan Bledsoe led the Sailors with 22 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Jonathan Pittman had 17 points and 8 rebounds. Chrishawn Chapman added a career high 11 points. JTFoster played a great defensive game with 9 points and 8 rebounds.  The Sailors begin conference play at 3-3 at Holland Friday.
