Grand Rapids, MI — The Mona Shores Boys Basketball team traveled to Kenowa Hills Friday night. Mona Shores had 5 players unable to play due to illness or injury, but they fought hard despite the Knights playing their best first half of the season. Kenowa Hills made 7/9 3 pointers in the first half and came out on fire. The Sailors didn't back down and battled in the second quarter and won the third quarter to come back within 12 points with a few minutes to go. The Sailors battled but in the end ran out of gas. The Knights prevailed 65-46. Leading the Sailors was Sophomore Jordan Bledsoe with 15 points 4 rebounds and 3 assists and Sophomore Jonathan Pittman with 9 points and 9 rebounds while Ryan Opsommer added 8 points and took 2 huge charges. JT Foster added 6 points and Daryl Robinson added 6 points 5 rebounds and team high 3 steals.
