Sophia only lost one game! in 3 sets, winning the 2 others 6-0. But she had to work for it, the Gaels were pretty good players and there were a lot of long points going on.

Hailey Klein

Hailey partnered with Caitlyn Davidson (not pictured) and were the only doubles team to win all 3 sets played today. They started at line #1 and crushed that team 6-1 in the opening round.

Neeka Barkhordar

Neeka also only lost one game! in 3 sets, winning the 2 others 6-0. She played almost flawless tennis as well, moving her opponents around the court at will. (Cordelia Cieplucha was our other MVP singles player, but her profile is only accessed through the varsity portal - great job today!)

San Juan Capistrano, CA — It’s been awhile since we’ve played the visiting Gaels from Las Vegas’ Bishop Gorman High School. We’ve beaten them a few times in the past at the varsity level in the Sage Hill Prep Classic.
