Clinton Township, MI — Chippewa Valley won Back to Back MAC Red games for the first time this season. Their record improves to 5-6 and 3-4 in the MAC Red. The Big Reds changed things up defensively putting Jordan Wright on their best wing to neutralize him and guarding their center with a variety of defenses. It was not easy and took a lot of manipulating, but the Big Reds pulled out a much needed hard fought win. The Big Reds continued beating bigger teams on the glass out rebounding the Crusaders by 7. For the first time this year the Free Throw line was an asset as the Big Reds went 13 for 15 from the free throw line. The Big Reds host MAC Leading Grosse Pointe South on Wednesday Feb 1st.
