Arkansas City, KS — Although we can’t post scores from our scrimmage (per NAIA rules), we are excited about the wins throughout the day. We played against 2 tough junior college teams - Cowley College and Allen County Community College. Statistically, we will continue to improve on the offensive end, but it was good to see us hit 5/15 3s in the first 2 quarters. Our shooting percentages weren’t very high, but we created the shots we want. When shots don’t fall, we have to rely on getting stops defensively, and this group stepped up to that challenge! We came up with 12 steals in the 5 quarters combined. Our team continues to learn more and more about each other every day in practice. It was nice to finally compete against someone other than ourselves.
