We started off with SHOCK and AWE just like Friday vs Sage Hill, winning opening round 6-0. Unlike Friday, we kept the hammer down today for a convincing 14-4 win. Again, all 20 JSerra players got into the action. We DOMINATED singles play this morning, winning 8 of 9 singles sets played. MVP Honors today go out to the 3 singles starters who took care of the Eagles with no losses in the first 2 rounds, in very hot conditions: GG Fernandez at line 1, Alexandra Marsh at line 2 and Arina Wagner at line 3. Evelyn Natzke and Peyton Salas stepped up in the hotter 3rd round to get us 2 more wins in singles. Super efforts today ladies. JSerra took 6 of 9 sets in doubles. Line 1, sharing the same court and winning all 3 (2 each) kudos to these 3 MVP’ers: Kate Layk, Chiara Manta and Faith Blower. Viana Poggi with Ella Joutz, Emily Meyer with Molly Harrington, and Maya Stroupe with Aurora Moore all picked up additional doubles set wins in a very balanced attack.
