Anaheim, CA — JSerra’s JV team won Trinity League for the 3rd time in school history, 2nd time as undefeated in league play. Last league match of the year was a tune-up for the league tournament, as well as an opportunity for a few subs get into the action. Kendall Beuerlein won opening set with Bella Aftabi, and then played 2 more sets with Emsley Bowman. Particularly proud of Emsley and Kendall who fought back from 2-5 to force a tie-breaker set in the 3rd round. Bella sub’d back in at #1 singles and won that as well, earning MVP honors for winning 100% today. Neeka Barkhordar won all 3 singles sets today earning MVP status. MVP Sophia Staff won both sets too, defeating OLu’s top 2 players Kudos to both #1 & #2 doubles teams: Ava Hetland w Cecilia Nama and Jacqueline Poli w Olivia Nowlan, who all won 3 of 3, earning MVP slots as well.
