Kennewick, WA — Baden Black Sox snagged a late lead and defeated FGA Plakata BBC from Yakima, WA in their second King of Kennewick tournament game. The game was tied at one with Baden batting in the top of the fith when Sneed doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run. In the first inning, FGA Plakata go their offense started when they scored one run. Baden evened things up at one in the top of the third inning. Abaga drove in one when he singled. After Baden scored one run in the top of the sixth, Plakata answered with one of their own. Baden scored when Keane singled on a 3-2 count scoring one run. Baden scored six runs in the seventh inning. The offensive firepower by Baden was led by Story, Eaton, Bishop, Haupert, and Marx all driving in runs in the frame. Keane earned the win for Baden. The pitcher went the complete game, allowing two runs on five hits and striking out 11. Baden racked up 13 hits in the contest. Sneed, Eaton, Abaga, Keane and Marx each collected two hits leading the team.
