Bridgeport, MI — Great night for some football both teams came ready to play. The Bearcats came out and spotted the Cheasing team a 12-0 lead before they settled down and start playing football. The defense was the high light of the game the Dark Side defense forced a couple of turnovers and had 4 sacks on the night. Khalil cliff had a 40 yard pick 6 interception run. The Bearcats had to many penalties that hurt them in the end they also had 2 fumbles on offense as well as a big 50 yard touchdown run called back. So they showed some signs of a good team but they will have to clean up the little stuff to be a good team this season. They were lead on Defense with Zalyn Martin with 9 assisted tackles and 1 sack, Edgar Jones & Khalil Cliff, Thomarus Shipman also had a sack. Jonathan Jackson had 8 tackles and a forced fumble. Will Harris had 8 total tackles on the night as well. The offense moved the ball best they could in the rain Zion Black ran the ball hard he also had a 30 yard touchdown run and he fumble once on the night. The team was lead by Taybren Baldwin at QB who did a good job keeping his team in the game. The Bearcats will be home next Thursday as The Garber Dukes come to town game starts at 7:00pm.
