Seattle, WA — Baden Black Sox 14U took Sunday's game in dramatic fashion, with a 4-3 walk-off victory over North Seattle Rainiers 14 Red. The game was tied at three with Baden batting in the bottom of the seventh when Rainier's pitcher induced Burke Lowe to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored.
Baden got things moving in the first inning when Rian Eaton singled on a 0-2 count, scoring two runs.
The Rainiers knotted the game up at three in the top of the sixth with a single scoring one run.
After the Rainiers scored one run in the top of the third, Baden answered with one of their own. Rainiers scored with a single on the first pitch of the at bat. Baden then answered when Lowe grounded out scoring one run.
Zak Tran took the win for Baden. The righty allowed zero hits and zero runs over one inning, walking zero.
The Rainiers left handed starter lasted three innings, allowing four hits and three runs while striking out three. Dashiell Story started for Baden. Story went six innings, allowing three runs on seven hits and striking out one.
Jalen Sneed led Baden with three hits in three at bats. Baden was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Jack Kelly made the most plays with 15.
