Panama City Beach, FL — Arnold Varsity Marlins defeated Bay 4-0 on Tuesday as three pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Ethan Gill struck out D Johnson to finish off the game.
Arnold Varsity Marlins fired up the offense in the second inning, when Cooper Moss hit a solo homer.
One bright spot for Bay was a double by Justin Anderson in the second inning.
Darin Watson got the start for Arnold Varsity Marlins. The righty went two innings, allowing zero runs on one hit, striking out three and walking zero.
Cody Warnick started the game for Bay. The pitcher surrendered four runs on three hits over five innings, striking out three. T Brooks threw one inning out of the bullpen.
