Burnsville, MN — Burnsville Varsity Blaze watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 4-1 loss to Eagan Wildcats Varsity on Thursday. Eagan Wildcats Varsity took the lead on a sacrifice fly in the second inning. Burnsville Varsity Blaze lost despite out-hitting Eagan Wildcats Varsity five to four. Greydon Isebrand took the loss for Burnsville Varsity Blaze. The pitcher lasted six innings, allowing three hits and four runs while striking out five. Jake Struzyk pitched the seventh inning, striking out one. Eli Keirstead led the Blaze with two hits in three at bats and an RBI.
