Boardman, OH — For the second time this season the Boardman Freshmen Baseball team won in walk off fashion with a 7-6 victory over Canfield. Down to their last strike Ivan Rudiak drove in the tying run and then Grayson Eicher drove in the winning run a few pitches later. Rudiak paced the Spartans going 3-4 with 2 RBIs, 2 runs, and 4 steals. Mason Nawrocki went 2-4 with an RBI. Mayhew scored 3 runs and added 3 steals. Also reaching the hit column were Eicher, Landon Whippo, Tommy Varley, Cory Pekkanen, and Aaron Glista. Max Switka and Varley added an RBI. Whippo picked up the win in relief.
