Lansing, MI — Game two began with cloudy skies and temperatures in the mid 30's. Freshman Elijah Stark was the starting pitcher, and the right-hander went six innings, allowing zero runs while striking out four. With the lights on Freshman, Lukas Brewer came on in relief in the seventh inning to slam the door on another Stars victory, 5-0. The Stars had nine hits and were led by Blake McRae (2-2) and Hunter Lay(2-3). Jace Preston, Shane Juday, McRae, and Lay all had doubles in the game. With this win, the Stars move to 4-0 in conference play and 10-5 on the season. Lansing will travel to Macomb on Friday for an Eastern Conference doubleheader before returning home to Municipal to wrap the series up on Saturday.
