Big Fourth Inning Propels Easton To Win Over Pocono Mountain West
Easton, PA — Easton scored six runs in the fourth on its way to a 10-2 victory over Pocono Mountain West on Saturday. The Rovers big bats in the 4th inning were led by an RBI single by AJ Thomas, a home run by Cole Transue, and by Patrick Keegan RBI.
Ryan Taynton was the winning pitcher for Easton. The righty surrendered zero runs on zero hits over two innings, striking out one. Trevor Silvius, Stephen Ricicki, and Ryan Holmes all put in work in relief out of the bullpen, steering their team towards the victory.
Patrick Keegan led Easton with two hits in three at bats. Ryan Bowman doubled and had two RBI.
Easton moves to 3-0 and will play Bethlehem Catholic at Easton at 4pm Monday April 4.
