Britton, MI — Britton Deerfield Patriots fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 15-7 loss to Ida on Friday. Ida scored on a single by Diedrich in the first inning, a groundout by Borton in the first inning, a walk by Gianiano in the first inning, a triple by Robertson in the second inning, and a groundout by Diedrich in the second inning. Despite the loss, Britton Deerfield Patriots did collect eight hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Ida had 12 hits on the way to victory.
