Goddard, KS — Goddard Lions JV watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 4-1 loss to Eisenhower on Tuesday. Eisenhower scored on a walk by E Trotmeter in the second inning, a walk by B Markel in the second inning, and a single by M Villatoro in the second inning. Goddard Lions JV lost despite out-hitting Eisenhower six to five. In the first inning, Eisenhower got their offense started. Eisenhower scored three runs in the second inning. Eisenhower's big inning was driven by walks by Trotmeter and Markel and a single by Villatoro. C Pabst was on the mound for Eisenhower. Pabst surrendered one run on three hits over three innings, striking out three and walking one. Blake Read was on the pitcher's mound for Goddard Lions JV.
