Lynn Haven, FL — Arnold Varsity Marlins took the lead late in the game in a 4-2 victory over Mosley on Tuesday. Arnold Varsity Marlins was down 2-1 in the top of the seventh inning when Cooper Moss doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring three runs. Mosley got things started in the first inning when Trent Nelson's sac fly scored one run for Mosley. Moss was on the pitcher's mound for Arnold Varsity Marlins. The righty allowed one hit and two runs over five innings, striking out four. J Martinez toed the rubber for Mosley. The bulldog surrendered zero runs on two hits over five and a third innings, striking out four. B Thomas and Mason Rodgers entered the game from the bullpen, throwing one and one-third innings and one-third of an inning respectively. Sam Mudge led Arnold Varsity Marlins with two hits in four at bats. Trevor Allan went 1-for-2 at the plate to lead Mosley in hits. Mosley didn't commit a single error in the field.
