Panama City Beach, FL — Arnold Varsity Marlins defeated Ohio County 7-1 by consistently putting runs on the scoreboard on Friday.
In the second inning, Arnold Varsity Marlins got their offense started when a sacrifice bunt by Josh Lindsey scored one run for Arnold Varsity Marlins.
Ethan Gill led things off on the hill for Arnold Varsity Marlins. The lefthander surrendered one run on three hits over five innings, striking out eight and walking one.
Jacob Gregory started the game for Ohio County. Gregory surrendered five runs on 11 hits over four innings, striking out two. Ashton Farris threw two innings in relief.
