Fountain Valley, CA — Missing guys but Coach Brendon let us play a 5 singles, 1 doubles format so we didn’t need to forfeit any sets….also gave doubles players a chance to play 3 sets of singles. Max Chiotis and JT Lentz won 2 of 3 doubles sets played, losing only to a combined team of their top 2 singles players, who sub’d into dubs in the final round. Thank you Lucas Johnson for filling in before the Jazz concert, winning 1 of 2 before casting call. Nicholas Barrios went 2 for 3 at line 4 singles, well done. MVP honors to Marco Belciano and Mikey Junge, both winning 3 of 3 sets played at #1 and #2 singles. Last, but not least, super Kudos and MVP honors to Sam Gou who won all 3 sets at #5, then filled in for Lucas at #3 and won his 4th set of the day! Next up: Monday, Feb. 28th at Huntington Beach, 3pm.
