Bridgeport, CT — Stratford High headed to UB’s Field at Seaside Park in Bridgeport on Tuesday afternoon and came away with a 15-0 SWC league win over Kolbe Cathedral. Senior Aidan Ormsbee had a solid start on the mound for Stratford going 4 full innings, while then Junior Dylan McCain came in for Ormsbee in the 5th inning and finished the last frame striking out the side. Stratford upped its record to 9-8 overall, 6-6 SWC. The team was led at the plate by Senior J.J. Romatzick (1-2, 1 run, 3 RBI), Junior Jake Kszywanos (2-4, 1 run, 2 RBI), Senior Brady Knorr (3-3, 3 runs, 2 RBI), Junior Joe Booska (2-2, 1 run, 3 RBI), and Junior Cam Kelemen (2-4, 2 runs, 1 RBI). Stratford returns to action on Saturday morning at 11:00 to face crosstown rival Bunnell in a non-league contest at Penders Field.
