Jake Tranchina led the inning off with a triple and Erick Diez grounded out, scoring Tranchina. David (DJ) Anderson earned the victory on the pitcher's mound for Vanden. The righty lasted four innings, allowing one hit and one run while striking out six and walking zero. Trevor Morse and Cody Buckley entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Morse recorded the last six outs to earn the save for Vanden Vikings Varsity.
