South Pasadena, CA — The South Pasadena Freshman Tigers overwhelmed the Monrovia Wildcats at home on Thursday, March 3, winning by a score of 8-3. Benjamin Regan pitched 6 innings with no earned runs and 7 strikeouts. Beck Brenek closed the door in the 7th inning to secure the victory. The hurlers were backed by solid defense.
The Tigers were strong at the plate, let by center fielder Brandon Woo's three hits. Regan and Charles Esnault each contributed hits as well.
The freshman Tigers will look to extend their winning ways on Saturday at home against El Rancho.
