La Cañada, CA — On a cold, rainy Friday afternoon in La Cañada, the South Pasadena Junior Varsity Tigers lost to the Spartans 10-3. The Tigers kept it close until the sixth inning when the game got away. Gabe Vogel started on the mound and went 5.1 innings, giving up only one earned run. Leo Castillo finished the game with two strikeouts. On the offensive side, the Tigers scattered six hits, led by Carlo Williams with two singles, and Gabe Vogel, with a double to center. Junior Varsity looks forward to their next game at San Marino on Tuesday.
