South Pasadena, CA — South Pasadena Junior Varsity Tigers defeated Pasadena High School 9-1 on Monday thanks to five runs in the first inning. South Pasadena Junior Varsity Tigers offense in the inning was led by Gabe Vogel, Leo Castillio, Jude Felix and Owen Woodworth, all knocking in runs in the inning. South Pasadena Junior Varsity Tigers opended up scoring in the first inning. Both Vogel brothers contributed with one driving in a run when the other singled. Sophmore, Owen Woodworth led things off on the hill for South Pasadena. The pitcher allowed three hits and zero run over five innings, striking out five and walking one. Tyler Vargas finished the last two innings striking out one, walking one and allowing only one run.
