South Pasadena, CA — South Pasadena Junior Varsity Tigers were showing good offensive power and pitching thru the 4th Inning when thunder was heard. The Umpire then had to follow baseball protocol and stop the game until the sky cleared. Instead, San Gabriel Valley received rain and hail ending the game. Gabe Vogel was the starting pitcher for the South Pasadena Tigers striking out 4 batters through the 4 innings. Offensive power from Johnson, Hall, Castillo and Woodworth provided 4 runs and the momentum was in favor of South Pasadena. Since the game was incomplete, it has been switched to a scrimmage game. South Pasadena Junior Varsity Tigers face Norte Vista High School this Thursday, February 17th 3:15 PM at Norte Vista High School.
