Venditti hits go ahead 3 RBI Double, pitches 3 dominant innings, in Burnt Hills 7-3 defeat of Troy

Troy, NY — In a rematch of last season's Sectional Championship game Burnt Hills got some revenge in a 7-3 victory over Troy on Wednesday. The Spartans trailed 3-2 in the top of the sixth inning when Timothy Venditti doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring three runs.
Burnt Hills knotted the game up at two in the top of the fourth inning. Matt Martin singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.
Venditti was the winning pitcher for Burnt Hills. The righty allowed two hits and one run over three innings, striking out two.
Kwintin Nurse took the loss for Troy. The pitcher allowed four hits and four runs over two innings, striking out two and walking one.
Davin Keddell-Tuckey started the game for Troy. The righty went five innings, allowing three runs on two hits and striking out three. Mason Veronezi started the game for Burnt Hills. The righthander lasted four innings, allowing five hits and two runs while striking out six.
Kyle DeCresce went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead the Spartans in hits. Burnt Hills was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Noah DiCaprio had the most chances in the field with ten.
Mike Dinardo led Troy with two hits in four at bats.
