Fountain Valley, CA — Frosh Soph accompanied JV to Fountain Valley, making use of 12 of their 13 courts and playing 2 dual matches at the same time. Missing players, we played a 2 doubles and 4 singles format - winning 6 singles sets and 1 doubles. We were 2 tie-breakers away from tying this match 9-9….pretty good outing for our first contest. MVP honors go out to Isaac Nguyen and Sean Do who both won 2 of 3 sets played. Well done guys. Andrew Whitehead and Sam Asadi both picked up additional set wins in singles play. Ronan McKeagney and Luke Stellar (new member of our team this season) picked up the only doubles win, and were a tie-break away from winning 2. Good efforts turned in by new team members playing doubles: William Kante and David Manning. Next up: home vs. Santa Margarita, 1pm Sat. Feb. 26th.
