San Juan Capistrano, CA — The Braves were just that today...bringing some young new players to the JSerra Tennis Complex. Although outmanned, Bosco played well, fought hard and well-mannered foes. Their line 2 doubles literally had never picked up a racket until February! The Lions were very hospitable in every aspect except set count and game tally; specifically, Zach Champine going triple bagel right through the Braves lineup! All to be named MVPs were Zach, Brady, Joe w/ Anthony, Luke w/ Charlie and Michael w/ Kenny; our doubles duos, sweeping all 9 sets played. The Lions need to regroup for Thursdays away match vs Servite, which will be intersting on several counts. GO LIONS !!!
