Mikey won all 3 sets, including a 6-0 win over their top player in round #3, and losing only 1 game. Mikey completed the lop-sided dominance on the singles side of the “draw” this afternoon, giving us a 9-0 sweep.

CO-MVP

Yuan Gou

Yuan “Sam” Gou won all 3 sets, including a 6-0 win over their top player, who could not handle Sam’s heavy topspin shots. His lop-sided wins helped give us enough games, that we would have won the match, if tied, on game count.

Marco Belciano

Marco won all 3 sets easily, which also helped give us a safe margin on game count. He opened up with a 6-1 win over their top player, which is always good for team momentum.

Rancho Santa Margarita, CA — Lions upset Eagles in Trinity League opener 10-8 on their home courts. According to their assistant coach, Corey, that’s the first league JV loss in many years. (We are going to fact check that🤪) Huge win regardless - great job guys!
