Anaheim, CA — January 21, 2022 - The Girls Water Polo team recorded their first Trinity League win of the season with a convincing victory over Rosary High School 16-4 on Thursday night.
The Lions shared the wealth in the goals department, with 10 different players tallying scoring. "Everyone got some great playing time today," said Head Coach Natalie Seidemann. "It was a really fun night, and the girls were excited to win a Trinity League game."
Clare Kaushek and Sam Cotter gave the Royals problems all night, both playing excellent defense as well as helping to control the offensive flow of the game.
For Seidemann, the win helped show her team what they are capable of as well as the impact they are having on future generations of Lions Water Polo Players. She said, "The team is really excited about the legacy they are leaving and the program they are building right now. We are having a blast out there and can't wait to get back in the water this weekend in the Ocean View Tournament
