First Road Win of the Season
Vanden High School Boys Varsity Volleyball Team traveled to Grass Valley for its first road game of the season winning with three straight sets over Bear River High School without its star middle blocker. The team was resilient and showed a lot of character. The middle blockers Mathew LeRoy and Christian Ting led the team with multiple scores and attacks to help the team to overcome adversity after trailing second and third set. Captain Noah Yi also led the team with multiple kills and good passing to help the team with a big come from behind win in a pivotal third set. The team is currently on a three game winning streak in the league.
