Zeeland, MI — The Mona Shores boys basketball team survived a rough shooting performance with gritty defense to beat Zeeland East on the road 41-38. Leading the Sailors in a balanced attack was Keontae Richards with 10 points including a huge 3 and clutch free throws. He also led the team with 5 assists and 6 steals. Donovan Russell added 11 points and Parker Swartz added 9 points and a team high 7 rebounds. The Sailors are 8-8 overall and 5-5 in conference.
