Irvine, CA — Today was a great start to our season. I couldn't have asked for the girls to be more excited and aggressive than they were! With Micaela as our brick wall in the cage the girls were able to press hard and steal the ball numerous times in the front court. I had some great defense from Lindsey Hughes and some very impressive guarding from both Mel Melgoza and Sydney Chapman! I loved seeing shots coming from everyone on our team. As always we have lots of room to grow but the girls played their hearts out. I can't wait for the rest of the season.
