Massillon, OH — The Lady Bears won an overtime thriller over a very good Brush team yesterday (previously 15-2) with a final score of 65-59! The bears were down 17-8 after the first quarter and fought back to go into halftime down 29-27. It was a battle to the finish with many lead changes. The Polar Bears trailed 46-36 with 6:32 to play in regulation before ending the game on a 14-4 run to send the game to overtime. Megan Campbell hit a put back shot as time expired but it was counted as no good. The bears prevailed in OT, out scoring brush 15-9! Emma Dretke led the way with 21 points & 9 rebounds. Lauren Pallotta added 19 points, 8 rebounds, 3 steals, 4 assists. Megan Campbell had 16 points and 3 steals! Halle Ignacio had 7 points, 3 steals. Cassie McMurtry had 2 points and 5 rebounds!
