Ontario, CA — Glendora improved to 2-0 in Palomares League play on Tuesday. GHS picked up a 7-5 victory at Colony, but it did not come easily. Cade Willis went the first 2 1/3 innings and allowed four runs (three earned) on seven hits Willis walked one and struck out two. Troy Estrada had three singles and scored. Brady Baeza walked, singled and had an RBI. Braydon Wooldridge walked twice, singled and scored. Carson Mounce walked, singled and scored a pair of runs. Joseph Gilkeson singled, drove in two runs and scored. Brandon Kiesendahl walked twice, had a pair of singles, two RBIs and scored a run. Matthew Moreno walked, singled and had an RBI. Ajay Rollice went 2-for-2 for GHS. John Nolan got the win after four innings, allowing three runs on four hits. He walked four and struck out six Colony batters. Braydon Wooldridge secured the victory and earned the save by getting the final three outs. And all three came via strikeout. Carlos Barba doubled twice and drove in a pair of runs.
