Huntington Beach, CA — Great day for tennis and this team competed well and had fun. Kylie Davidson supplied alot of the entertainment with two very close and tightly contested sets at line 1 vs Archer then Yorba Linda. Her wins were 8-6 and 8-7 respectively. KOach promised her she would have 2 good opponents if she attended and she did! She was the MVP for the day, the only Lion to pick up all 3 sets played. Anna Ciraci had a solid performance at line 2 vs Yorba Linda, an 8-4 victory that was much closer than the score. "KOach noted, I couldn't figure out why the purple team [Archer] was so interested in our Yorba match. The eye test told me Yorba was way stronger than Archer, finding out later, YL and Archer had tied, YL took the match by a slim 2- game game count! So, Archer was rooting for us! We were in this match as it looked like we could take 3 singles despite losing 3 doubles. Rosalia was hanging tight at line 3 singles but, couldn't quite close it out.
