San Juan Capistrano, CA — The Lions turned in a dominating performance with an impressive 19-6 victory over La Jolla. Steve Partsch had a standout performance with 5 goals on the day. Despite the wide margin of victory, things were tight early with La Jolla leading 2-1 after the 1st quarter. The Lions exploded for 6 goals in the 2nd with 2 from Steve and Will, Johan, Colt and Bode each finding the back of the net. JSerra added a 5 goal quarter in the 3rd with goals from Drew, Steve, Mason, Jason and Bode. The boys took a 12-5 lead into the 4th and didn’t let up, adding 7 more goals in the 4th, finishing off La Jolla 19-6. Bode got 2 goals and Will, Alex M, Bode, Johan and Jason each got one to close things out. That’s another quality win for JSerra as La Jolla just won the Roche tournament last weekend in Northern California with wins over Menlo and Valley Christian. Way to go Lions!
