La Jolla, CA — JSerra pulls off one of the biggest wins in the Brett Ormsby era with a 15-10 victory over Bishops. Bishops is considered a top 15 team in SoCal and the top 1-2 in San Diego. The first quarter was tight with Drew Vangrin scoring the only 2 goals for JSerra and Bishops getting out to a 5-2 lead. JSerra came out on fire in the 2nd quarter and didn’t look back. They outscored Bishops 5-0 in the period with goals from Will (2), Steve, Alex and Mason. The Lions continued the momentum in the 3rd with an explosion of 4 goals from Johan and 1 from Bode to take a 12-7 lead into the 4th. JSerra maintained the 5 goal lead in the 4th finishing with a 15-10 win. Great job boys!!! Let’s keep it rolling into SB!!!
