San Juan Capistrano, CA — JV girls tennis gets first win of young season, thrashing the Crean Lutheran Saints this afternoon. Visiting Coach Mike agreed to an impromptu all doubles format, as he had 20+ girls in tow and it helped us give our girls a chance to play 2 or 3 full sets today. MVP honors today reserved for our “bench” players (squad B) who won both sets played for 100% win ratio: Sophia Coffin, Chelsea Hernandez, Yasmin Mashour, Hailey Klein, Julia Domanskis, Mia Contreras. Plenty of “S” squad members joined the 100% club today as well. Erica Gonzalez, Fionnuala McClain, Alma Bayat, Natalie Walters, Taylor Mindte, Sophia Recupero. Olivia Nowlan won 2 of 3 played today, while Lauren Walcott and Cecilia Nama picked up additional set wins. Great team effort today, congrats on first win of the season.
