South Pasadena, CA — First game jitters resulted in both Franklin and SP to have numerous turnovers. The key to success was converting these turnovers into points. Franklin HS had 5 turnovers, losing 4 to SPHS. One turnover was a sack, fumble in the end zone for a defensive touchdown. So Pas put the ball on the ground 4 times but recovered it 3 times and held Franklin to only 8 points. So Pas ran about 45 offensive plays and never punted. This week we are going to try to improve our protection of the football and continue our team's tenacity on defense to cause more turnovers.
